With Avallain Magnet Release 27 we introduce a crucial functionality for our platform: The Edlink integration, now in its beta phase. This new functionality will facilitate seamless integration with leading Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Google Classroom –Moodle, Canvas, Schoology and Blackboard will be added soon—.
While customers are not required to maintain an individual account on Edlink—since this aspect is managed through the Avallain account—it's mandatory for them to have an account on any LMS platform they wish to integrate with Magnet (for example, Google Classroom).
The first phase of this integration supports a range of functionalities within Google Classroom, albeit with certain limitations and specificities:
- Data Rostering: The integration allows for automatic creation of institutions, users, and groups within Google Classroom, simplifying the management and organisation process.
- Assignments: When an assignment is created in Avallain Magnet under a specific group, a corresponding link is automatically shared in the related class on Google Classroom.
Important: If you are interested in leveraging this integration, contact our Customer Success Team.
