Digital Developer and Producer

As Digital Developer and Producer, you will develop (full-stack), maintain, enhance and extend all digital platforms used for communication, marketing, and sales purposes.
About your role
  • You should be an expert in designing, coding and modifying web platforms and be able to realise, from layout to function, visually appealing, user-friendly (back- and frontend), innovative and conversion-driven multilingual websites and landing pages that are meant to be seen around the globe

Objectives and responsibilities of your role
  • Maintain Avallain’s official website and realise extensions, updates, new pages, and landing pages from start to finish
  • Wow everybody who visits Avallain’s website, landing pages or other digital platforms
  • Engage and convince target audiences that visit our websites or come in contact with or experience our products and services, with relevant and engaging content and an effective user guidance
  • Take full responsibility of Avallain’s website and ensure that it is best-of-breed in terms of code, design, security, and user experience – concerning the front- and backend
  • Ensure that our website is always up-to-date and markets our unique selling propositions, for example via specific landing pages, in an effective way, so that target audiences get converted into quality leads
  • Implement corporate identity into Avallain’s website and landing pages to create a seamless brand experience
  • Liaise with colleagues and partners such as agencies and consultants to use the full potential of digital marketing, for example in terms of content and Search Engine Marketing (SEA)
  • Estimate what you can do on your own and what needs to be outsourced to, e.g. designers – and then coordinate the outsourcing process
  • Train colleagues in the backend concerning content management
  • Choose and implement interfaces and integrations with Tracking-, CRM-, and Marketing-Cloud-Solutions
  • Use your expertise to provide solutions and consulting to help reach the marketing and branding objectives – communicated by the management
  • Present and report to the department’s management
Required skills and qualifications
  • At least three years commercial experience developing global web-projects from start to finish
  • Deep expertise and hands-on experience with Web Applications and programming
  • Proficient in English: Native speaker or C2-C1 level with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and API's
  • In-depth functional knowledge or hands-on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc ..)
  • Strong grasp of security and privacy principles and how to apply them
  • Expertise and hands-on experience with Object-Oriented Design and Multimedia Content Development
  • Active project management and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to align daily actions to superior objectives and see the bigger picture
  • Experience with Marketing Clouds, Automation and CRM-Tools, such as HubSpot or Salesforce and respective plugins and integrations
  • Strong knowledge and skills with Content Management Systems, such as WordPress
  • Advanced skills with Adobe CC, especially Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Proficient using Project-Management, Office- and Communication-Software such as JIRA, Google Docs/Sheets/Slides, Slack or similar
